Starting on a new career path? Afghan Care puts you on the road to financial independence by helping to identify a career path and develop vocational skills. Guidance and referrals available now, with job training programs coming in the future.
Refugee Support
When Afghan refugees arrive in the East Bay, Afghan Care is here to help with temporary emergency shelter, basic household supplies, and a supply of food. Our volunteers help make local connections and provide a provide a safety net for newcomers.
Social Services
Afghan Care volunteers help individuals and families find the support they need through referrals to state and local health care and social service agencies. Our team helps with completing forms, understanding procedures, and scheduling appointments.
